Im not an expert, I’m an observer..

I used to be such an opinionated person. And obviously I still have opinions to this day but as I’ve grown older, life, wisdom, and truth has proven my opinions to be just that opinions.  They have been proven to be right at times and most defiantly proven to be wrong.

So how do I go through life now knowing that I, well, I don’t know everything? I pause, observe and read the Bible.

I do not know the soul that was lost Sept 9th in broad day light. I do not wish death or evil on anyone as a human being and more importantly as a Christian. And as a Christian for anyone who is claiming to be so, we must examine our hearts. Daily renewing our mind.

I will say I pray this soul was examining his heart and renewing his mind, so that no unwholesome thing would come out of his mouth (Eph 4:29), that he was renewing his mind in Christ such that he would have nothing to do with foolish and stupid arguments ( 2 Timothy 2:23), that he was confessing and repenting his sins as he confronted others to do (1 John 1:9) and I hope he thought about the scripture in (Ephe 4: 29-32) so his actions or words did not cancel, replace, or over shadow what he seemed to care about most, Jesus.

I can’t help but to wonder, were you really a christian standing on kingdom business or were you just a political pond who had a lot of attention to speak publicly? Which could have been opportunities to speak with love and grace when talking about ANY group of people.

Sometimes I worry that just because one may say they are a christian, they speak about the Gospel, they challenge lifestyles outside of the faith, that  that automatically means they are without sin or personal convictions that are sins, like hate, or knowing right from wrong or sharing, stirring up and continuing in a narrative that creates division.

Even beyond this soul that was lost in such a horrific way, I think we all need to examine the parties we affiliate with, the groups we hold so near and dear to are hearts with justification and convictions and opinions. I do not believe Jesus is on the right because you say you are a christian and an evangelist and want some rights, for some of the people, some of the time. I do not believe Jesus is on the left because you claim you want equality. I do believe satan is on the right because actions over the course of history and to this day have proven that only one group of people can thrive in this life and they do not have to be held accountable. I do believe satan is on the left because your actions do not align with the heart of God that is laid out in scripture, and uses the general public for selfish gain. If you are Christian who loves the Lord, seeks the Lord and wants to be transformed by him and hope others will do that same, you may want to question yourself if (1) you’ve viewing the death of someone with a difference of opinion, as what they deserved. Or (2) if you’re viewing this person with no fault for the simple fact that because he professed to be a Christian that all of his words don’t deserves to be challenged. If either of the two, you many need to ask Jesus to do a work in your heart and your mind before YOUR soul is gone. I know I am
